I am Alexander Ruiz, a graduate of Florida International University, where I earned a double major in Psychology and English. With the knowledge of both degrees, I analyze audiences and buyer personas to create engaging digital marketing materials, specializing in copywriting, content creation, and social media management. In retrospect, I took the long way to get a Marketing degree.

I am a Digital Content Creator at Belzona. During my time, I’ve played a key role in increasing its social media presence, growing its Instagram following from 10k to 60k in just five months. I developed and implemented social media strategies to boost brand awareness, using metrics and insights to guide our efforts. In addition to social media, my experience includes technical writing, where I collaborate with engineers to create technical materials such as brochures, flyers, and other print materials. My work includes publishing blog articles that drive site traffic and contributing to over 20 industry-leading digital and print magazines.

When I am not working, I love TV. My favorite TV shows are The Sopranos and Avatar: The Last Airbender. I love these shows because I grew up watching Avatar: The Last Airbender. I’ve seen the series maybe eight times now, and it has easily become my comfort show that I always go back to rewatch. I love The Sopranos because the opening scene is a therapy session, and mental health is a big theme throughout the show, so as someone who studied Psychology, I was hooked.
